We are in the market for an experienced Recreation Centres Administration Support Officer, you are passionate about your profession and enjoy the rewards of a good challenge. As the Recreation Centres Administration Support Officer, you will need high level administration, communication and interpersonal skills, a positive and methodical work ethic and proficiency in general computer use, including Excel, Word and Outlook. You will undertake various clerical and administrative duties to assist the Supervisor, Business Development Operations. This role is based at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre.
What impact will you make?
- You will provide high quality administrative, systems and project support to Recreation Centres to ensure an efficient and effective service is provided.
- You will provide excellent customer service and high-quality advice and communications to internal and external customers and stakeholders, relating to Recreation Centres functions.
- You will provide support for the Recreation Electronic Management System (Perfect Gym) to Recreation Centre areas.
- You are friendly, supportive and actively listen to the needs of others.
- You enjoy working with people and are open to the opinions of others.
- You have a welcoming and respectful customer service disposition when dealing with both your internal and external customers, our community.
- Ability to “think outside the box” and have very good problem-solving skills

- Ability to use office equipment (including but not limited to multifunctional photocopiers and pc using MS Excel and Word packages, Electronic Email and OneCouncil)
- Experience with database administration
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months of date of issue)
- Working With Children (WWC)
- Senior First Aid

This permanent full time (38 hours per week) Level 3 position attracts a pro-rata salary range of $73,347- $79,323 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
