About the role:
As a result of our continued growth and pipeline of national projects, Sensorem is seeking a focused and driven Business Support Officer to join our team, on a full-time basis in our Subiaco head office.
The successful candidate will support and directly communicate with our senior and project managers, and provide administrative support across our key contracts.
They will assist with the smooth running of day-to-day activities in our head office in Subiaco, and help remotely coordinate Sensorem’s ey projects across Australia. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a range of operational activities, including recruitment and onboarding, documentation and compliance management, procurement, contract administration, and logistics coordination.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need at least 2 years’ experience in a similar administrative or project support position, along with strong communication and organisational skills.

The key functions of the role include, but are not limited to:
Supporting project managers on our key contracts;
Managing daily administrative functions such as documenting/reporting/scheduling/meeting minutes;
Monitoring key inboxes;
Client & staff on-boarding;
Issuing invoices and reconciling expenses;
Assisting with scheduling and organising meetings;
Booking staff travel and accommodation;
Corresponding with project stakeholders;
Managing equipment inventory, both in the head office and remotely;
Arranging shipping between our field workers around the country;
Coordinating client-specific qualification, mobilisation and on-boarding of field personnel;
Provide site administration support, ensuring that mobilisation documentation is up to date and compliant with project specifications.
Assist in updating and managing rosters, ensuring seamless coordination across teams.
Assist in maintaining records of personnel qualifications, certifications, and training requirements in both internal and client databases.
Provide general administrative support and answer incoming calls;
Any other duties as may be within scope and purpose of the job as requested from time to time;
Skills and experience:
High level organisational, coordination and prioritisation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work autonomously as well as within a collaborative team environment
The ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Willingness to learn and adapt
Desirable:
Experience in bookkeeping and payroll
