Senior Supervisor City Spaces

Warrnambool City Council are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Infrastructure Team as Senior Supervisor City Spaces.

About the Role
This customer facing role offers the unique opportunity to combine staff management, technical expertise and customer service leadership to ensure the delivery of the Council’s works programme.

This includes coordinating the day-to-day operations, administration, leadership and supervision of the ‘City Spaces – Open Spaces Team’ to deliver a high standard of presentation within the service level expectations of the community, constraints of time, and budget.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:

· Extensive skills in leadership, supervision, motivation and coordination of staff.

· Relevant experience in parks and gardens maintenance tasks, environmental and resource management.

· Ability to develop reports and correspondence.

· Demonstrated knowledge, qualifications or experience in natural resource management.

· Experience working with community groups, students, volunteers and the general public.

The Benefits
This is a permanent full-time position with a current starting annual salary of $76,310.59 per annum, plus superannuation.
