About the business
Foot Finesse is an Allied Health Pedorthics practice (Orthopaedic Shoe-making), based in Goonellabah, Northern NSW.
We provide custom made footwear, extra depth footwear, footwear modifications and foot orthotics to clients at our clinic and via home visits.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Medical Administrator to run the front office and reception of our practice for 1 day (8 hours) per week and to provide holiday coverage for our full-time Administrator(Up to 38hrs per week). In December the position will change to 2 full days per week, plus holiday coverage.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reception and Customer Service Duties, including but not limited to:
Meeting and greeting clients in reception.
Answering all telephone calls and email enquiries, processing phone messages for clinical staff, and attending to missed calls.
Booking, confirming and rescheduling appointments as required
Checking and following up patient paperwork for consultations.
General patient accounts duties including issuing payment request, and following up outstanding accounts.
Managing applications in relation to ENABLE NSW, NDIS, Workcover, DVA, Insurance companies etc, including coordinating documentation/ reporting with clinicians as required.
All invoicing and accounts receivable (accounting).
Skills and experience
Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and welcoming attitude as the front of office person in our clinic.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to multitask are all personal qualities we will be looking for in the successful candidate.
Self-motivated, disciplined and highly driven to meet goals and deadlines.
Strong organisational, administrative, and planning skills.
Relevant Experience
1-2 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
Experience in financial and accounting systems and reporting process.
Proven ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Applications.
