Nine Yards Coffee which is a growing specialty coffee roasting company. We supply coffee all over Sydney. We source and roast our coffee on site in Brookvale. All our coffee is sourced ethically and sustainably. Our approach to food is similar: quality ingredients, ethically sourced and cooked with love. Qualifications & experience

Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role

Passion for quality food and presentation

Professional and well presented

Excellent communication skills

Food Safety Certificate

Chef Qualifications

Ability to menu plan and cost control

Ability to lead a team of chefs, cooks and kitchenhands.

Ability to train and develop your team.

Strong communication skills.

Take care of ordering and stock control.

Tasks & responsibilities

Work closely with Head Chef

Manage Kitchen when Head Chef absent

Cook Breakfast & Lunch

Baking

Order and manage stock

Cost & portion control

Lead and manage kitchenhand

Ensure Kitchen is clean and maintained. Adhere to all food safe practices

Create new menu items

Work at our sister cafe in Brookvale, as and when needed.
