The Waratah is an Australian-inspired restaurant and bar located in the heart of Darlinghurst. We're proud to champion NSW producers, stories, and flavours across two distinct spaces: a bustling ground-floor Public Bar and an upstairs 70-seat Dining Room with wraparound verandah and rooftop views.

We're seeking a full-time Chef de Partie who brings both professionalism and passion to their work. You’ll have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality-driven kitchens and a commitment to consistency, teamwork and growth.

What we're looking for:

Solid experience in a similar CPD role (minimum 2 years)

Confidence across multiple sections, especially grill and larder

Strong understanding of kitchen systems, hygiene and service pace

A collaborative mindset and hunger to keep learning

Calm under pressure and a good communicator

What we offer:

Competitive salary package ($65,000 - $75,000 based on experience)

Paid overtime & tips (30% share of weekly tips)
