About the role

The Junction Inn Hotel, a newly renovated and iconic pub located in Raymond Terrace, is seeking experienced and passionate back of house professionals to join our kitchen team. As part of our close-knit hospitality team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to fill the following roles.

Casual and Full time roles are on offer.

• Chefs
• Pizza Chefs
• Cooks
• Kitchen Hands
• Apprentice Chefs

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a variety of delicious meals, including pizzas in our brand wood fire pizza oven, using fresh, high-quality ingredients
• Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen
• Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials
• Assisting with various kitchen duties, such as cleaning, stock management and food preparation
• Working as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen during service

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen, within the hospitality industry
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, visually appealing meals
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle the demands of a busy kitchen
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff
• Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, would be highly regarded
