We’re currently seeking a dedicated Settlement Specialist to join our Sydney office and play a key role in our growing operations.

About the Role

As a Settlement Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end settlement process for complex commercial mortgage transactions. This is a full-time, in-office role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and enjoys working closely with legal, financial, and client-facing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage settlements for commercial mortgage transactions, including multi-property and high-value deals.

Liaise with solicitors, brokers, lenders, and clients to ensure all documentation and conditions are met prior to settlement.

Review and verify legal and financial documents, including loan agreements, trust deeds, and valuation reports.

Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and external regulatory requirements.

Maintain accurate records and update CRM and loan management systems.

Proactively resolve settlement issues and ensure timely execution.

What You’ll Bring

1+ years’ experience in settlements within commercial lending, property finance, or banking.

Strong understanding of commercial mortgage structures (e.g., SMSF, trusts, company borrowers).

Familiarity with legal documentation and settlement platforms (e.g., PEXA, banking portals).

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with complex or non-standard lending scenarios.

Knowledge of credit assessment and loan documentation processes.
