Role: Casual Social Media Manager for Country Mile
Rate: $28–$32/hr
Location: Based in New Gisborne VIC (with flexible WFH options)
Hours: Vary week to week – flexibility is key!
We’re looking for someone to jump on board casually to help bring our rural clothing brand to life online. You’ll be working closely with the founder (aka me) on content strategy, planning, and creation. Some weeks will be busy, others a bit quieter — so being chill but reliable is a must.
Preferred Qualifications / Experience:
Relevant study or background in:
Marketing, Communications, Media, PR, Journalism, or Digital Content Creation
(Cert III/IV, diploma, or degree — even if still studying)
Experience with:
Creating content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook
Canva, CapCut, or other basic editing tools
Writing captions, stories, and basic copy
Bonus if you’ve used:
Meta Ads Manager
Shopify, Klaviyo, or other eCommerce platforms
Planning and scheduling posts (Meta Business Suite)
What you'll be doing:
Planning and creating content for TikTok, Instagram, and Meta
Helping brainstorm and schedule campaigns and launches
Shooting content
Editing and prepping reels, stories, and posts
