Russell Transport is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team based in Lytton. This full-time role is perfect for someone eager to grow their skills in sales and operations within a dynamic road transport business.

This position offers hands-on exposure to complex logistics and the opportunity to support high-profile transport projects. You'll work closely with a supportive and experienced team, developing your capabilities in quoting, tendering, project coordination, and client communications.

On a day to day basis your duties would include:

Create and manage submissions for quotes and tenders

Use the internal house-based quote register for tracking and updates

Follow up on outstanding quotes and tenders in a timely manner

Assist with general quoting and tendering activities

Be a central point for customer communications – including bookings, enquiries, and job updates

Work closely with the Business Development Manager to support ongoing sales efforts

Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate quoting and client information

Assist with project planning and equipment coordination

Source pricing from subcontractors and suppliers

Communicate daily movements to clients, internal teams, and third-party providers

Provide support to the Operations team when required

This is a full time position and is suitable for both experienced or entry level candidates with the right aptitude and /or background in road transport.

To be successful with your application you must be familiar with MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook), be able to adapt quickly to the role and have:

High attention to detail and comfort working with numbers

Strong organisational and communication skills

The ability to adapt quickly and handle multiple tasks

A friendly and professional telephone manner

Experience with Transfocus, FreightTracker, or other Transport Management Systems (TMS) is highly regarded
