Job Title: Sales Coordinator

Reports To: General Manager / Sales & Marketing Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team. This role is central to supporting our sales operations, managing customer interactions, preparing accurate quotations, and ensuring seamless after-sales service. The ideal candidate will bring excellent communication skills, strong administrative capabilities, and a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue timely, accurate customer quotations

Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online channels in a professional and courteous manner

Liaise with internal departments (production, logistics, accounts) to coordinate smooth order processing and delivery

Update and manage CRM systems, order documentation, and tracking records

Manage the sales process from quote acceptance to freight and delivery, ensuring a smooth customer experience.

Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and ongoing relationships

Support the sales team with general administrative duties and reporting

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services to support sales efforts

Key Skills & Attributes:

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); CRM experience preferred

Positive, solution-focused attitude with a strong commitment to customer service

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Previous experience in quoting, order processing, or sales admin roles is highly regarded

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 2 years in a sales support, administrative, or customer service role

Experience within the trade, construction, or manufacturing sector is desirable

High school certificate or equivalent; a qualification in business administration is advantageous
