About the role
As the Procurement Manager at eSafety Supplies, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's purchasing and inventory operations. This full-time position is based in Wetherill Park, NSW and will involve overseeing the procurement of critical safety equipment and supplies to support the company's manufacturing and logistics functions.
What you'll be doing
Strategically manage all procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of essential goods and services
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms and secure the best possible pricing
Oversee the inventory management process, including forecasting, ordering, and stock control to minimise surplus and shortages
Implement and monitor procurement policies and procedures to drive efficiency and compliance
Analyse purchasing data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Lead a team of procurement specialists and provide guidance and mentorship to support their development
Collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement activities with the overall business strategy
What we're looking for
Experience in a similar procurement or supply chain management role
Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimise purchasing decisions
Proficient in the use of procurement and inventory management software
Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies
Ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing procurement team
