Join one of Australia’s most iconic and trusted family-owned brands. Mortels Sheepskin Factory is on the lookout for a talented and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team in Launceston, working onsite at our new retail store.

About the Role:
This hands-on role is perfect for someone who is creative, resourceful, and passionate about visual storytelling. You’ll work closely with our digital and print media team to create on-brand marketing content while also supporting our retail team to gain a deeper understanding of our products, materials, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with our digital and print media team on design and content creation
• Design marketing collateral, signage, and visual merchandising materials
• Shoot and edit photos and short-form videos for social and web use
• Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and online platforms
• Proof-read content, check facts, and apply a critical visual eye for accuracy and consistency
• Assist with retail store operations, contributing to content ideas grounded in real customer interactions
• Gain product knowledge through hands-on experience with sheepskin products, raw materials and industry processes

You’ll Need:
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
• Strong eye for detail and design consistency
• Great communication and proofreading skills
• Initiative and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Willingness to work retail shifts as part of a close-knit team
• A collaborative mindset and passion for Australian-made products

Bonus Skills (Not Essential):
• Photography or styling experience
• Familiarity with Shopify, Mailchimp or similar platforms
• Interest in retail marketing or sustainable product promotion
