Studio 3 Learning is seeking a highly skilled and creative Learning Designer to join our team for a four month contract to the end of November. As a Learning Designer, you will work closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and multimedia developers to create high-quality learning experiences for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, proficiency in various course authoring tools, and a passion for creating innovative learning solutions.

Employment type: 4-month contract with option to extend

Hours: Full time or part time options available

Remuneration: $60-$80/hour

Location: Sydney-based or work from home

Key responsibilities:

Develop engaging and interactive learning experiences using a range of authoring tools, ensuring content is both visually appealing and pedagogically sound.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to storyboard, script, and design effective learning materials for fully online modes of delivery.

Communicate effectively with graphic designers and developers to convey design concepts and requirements clearly.

Work within tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Proactively seek and respond to feedback from stakeholders, iterating on designs to enhance learner engagement and effectiveness.

Foster a collaborative team environment, contributing ideas and insights to improve overall learning design processes and outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have:

Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.

Sound understanding of learning-design principles, practices, curriculum development, resource development and production.

Strong storyboarding and script writing skills, with a flair for creating compelling narratives.

Familiarity with designing and developing online learning experiences in Articulate 360.

Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 suite of tools.

Experience working with learning management systems such as Moodle and Canvas.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

A proactive and positive attitude towards receiving and implementing feedback.

A team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment and contributes to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
