About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our fast-paced removals company, Ryder Transport & Logistics Pty Ltd, based in Mudgeeraba, Queensland. In this full-time permanent role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing and streamlining our day-to-day operations, ensuring we continue to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate all operational activities, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation

Oversee the performance of our removal teams, driving productivity and efficiency

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operations and customer satisfaction

Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure timely and accurate service delivery

Manage health and safety compliance, including the implementation of safety protocols

Lead, coach and develop a team of operational staff

Collaborate cross-functionally to optimise workflow and communication

Provide regular reporting and analysis to the senior management team

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar operations management role, preferably within the removals or logistics industry

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think strategically

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the capacity to multitask

Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve operational targets

Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures in the removals industry

Outstanding customer service orientation and communication skills

Adaptable and resourceful with a commitment to continuous improvement
