Pelican Waters Golf Club, a breathtaking venue nestled within the scenic Greg Norman Golf Course, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Golf Operations Assistant to join our team.

Primary Duties of the Position:
This is a full time permanent position, working a Wednesday to Sunday roster & available for an immediate start.
Availability across weekends and holiday periods is essential.
Reporting to our Operations Manager, the Golf Operations Attendant provides assistance with various tasks, including customer service, administrative duties, course maintenance coordination, and event organisation.
Day to day duties include, but not limited to:
Assist with the management of tee time reservations & enquiries via phone & email
Assist with checking in golfers, maintaining a high level of attentive & professional guest service at all times
Processing POS & eftpos transactions for play, retail sales, equipment hire and food & beverage sales
Monitor pace of play and assist with on-course operations as needed.
Assist with the inventory management & stock take of golf equipment and supplies.
Operate & coordinate the golf cart fleet, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness.
Assist with event and tournament setup and execution.
Provide the availability & ensure professional presentation of golf carts in the staging areas for use by the golfers;
Light administrative duties - email enquiries, routine reporting etc.
Assists with food and beverage services, including service of alcohol.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will be organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and possess a passion for exceptional service.
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate essential;
Current C Class drivers licence essential.
Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a golf environment
Good computer literacy - experience with POS (Swyftpos) or golf management software
A true dedication to delivering exceptional customer service
A self-motivated, team player able to work autonomously when required
Excellent time management skills, including punctuality & reliability
Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Current Safe Food Handling Certificate preferred
