About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Centre Manager and Educational Leader to join our team at Freckles Kindy and Learning Centre. This is a full-time position, but for the right person, we are open to part-time. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Centre Manager in the day-to-day operations and educational leadership of our thriving early learning centre.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Centre Manager in overseeing the centre's operations, staff management, and daily administration tasks

Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the centre's educational program, ensuring it aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework

Mentor, coach, and support the teaching team to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care

Foster strong relationships with families and the local community

Ensure the centre maintains compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Collaborate with the Centre Manager to drive continuous improvement and innovation

What we're looking for

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior or leadership role within the early childhood education and care sector

Diploma or degree qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Demonstrated experience in educational programming and curriculum development

Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with families and the community

A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children
