About UDC Trading:
UDC Trading are a fast paced and fast-growing dairy trading business. We supply a range of dairy ingredients to food manufacturers nationwide.
We have an opportunity for an experienced Customer Service and Logistics Administrator to join our team based in Milton, Brisbane on a full-time basis working 8 hours per day Monday to Friday. This is not a work from home role.
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of ensuring timely delivery of customer orders. This includes and is not limited to processing of orders, booking transport, liaising with 3PL's, managing stock levels etc. As a logistics administrator customer satisfaction is a priority.
As part of the administration team, you will report to the Operations Manager and will be an integral team member assisting in day-to-day operations of administration, logistics and customer focused tasks. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic person. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a resilient attitude towards handling unexpected changes and/or delivery delays, and the adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Experience in customer service is an advantage, but a positive and proactive approach is essential.
Some of what you'll get up to in the role:
- Providing exceptional customer service via email and phone, ensuring all orders, enquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and enquiries with a focus on maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Processing orders and communicating expected delivery date and updating with any changes accordingly.
- Administrative support and general office duties.
- Invoicing, management of stock movements and dealing with freight bookings.
- Managing contractual agreements including inventory control
- Answering telephone calls and liaising with clients, transport and 3PL's.
- Manage daily workflow to maintain client service standards ensuring time frames and schedules are adhered to.
- Client database management.
- Data entry and other clerical work as operationally required.
- Developing and maintaining efficient administrative systems and processes.
- Maintaining office stationery and sundries.
- Administrative support to the MD and sales team.
- Other relevant tasks as required.
What you'll need:

- Exceptional organization and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong phone etiquette and email handling abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and have a willingness and ability to learn new software packages such as MYOB.
