The Role
The Practice Manager will be responsible for our Allied Health Practice's overall operations, development and success. In this critical role, the successful applicant will act as an information resource and ambassador to patients, referrers, the general public, therapists and administration staff. If you have experience in a similar role at a medium-sized allied health centre, we encourage you to apply for this position!
Typical shifts will include Mondays (7.30AM-4PM), Tuesdays (7.30AM-4PM), Wednesdays (10.30AM-7PM), Thursdays (7.30AM-4PM) and Fridays (7.30AM-1.30PM, only fortnightly) for a total of 70 hours per fortnight. An opportunity in this role to work full-time hours per fortnight is available, based on practice workload and requirements.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
Reception duties including managing the daily operations and systems of the clinic including the practice management software.
Collaborating with the PhysioHealth Partners and Senior PM to assist in the orientation and onboarding of all new staff members, ensuring all administrative staff are appropriately qualified and have access to ongoing training to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
Managing accounts receivable and debt control.
Management of administration shifts and keeping rosters up to date.
Overseeing the business operations of PhysioHealth to ensure excellent client focus, accountability and efficient use of materials and resources.

Ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to.
About you
The successful applicant will be friendly, have excellent communication skills, be able to lead a medium-sized team, and be a great team player. The successful candidate will be a passionate leader who has the following:
Previous experience in a medical reception role, PMS experience with Front Desk, Pracsuite or similar, as well as experience with Healthpoint and EFT processing (preferred).
Leads by example, balancing kindness and accountability.
Has a hands-on, calm-under-pressure-approach, with high standards and a focus on continuous improvement.
Thrives in fast-paced environments and can juggle conflicting priorities.
A mature approach to work and problem-solving.
