Canberra Cardiac Care is a well-established, highly respected busy cardiology practice in Deakin. Our friendly team of cardiologists, technicians and support staff, work together to provide compassionate and exceptional care for our patients.

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist with a strong background in administration to join our front-desk team 2-3 days a week with an immediate start.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Welcome patients at reception, ensuring a warm and professional experience

Manage incoming calls and patient enquiries with sensitivity and discretion

Efficiently manage patient bookings

Manage patient billing and receipting

Assisting with Holter Monitors and Heartbugs (training given)

Liaise professionally with hospitals, referring doctors, and allied health professionals

Management of patient data and correspondence

Requirements for this role:

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a receptionist

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Remain calm, cool and collected under pressure

A collaborative and flexible approach, with the ability to work well within a close-knit team

Flexibility to cover staff leave
