About the Role:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to oversee day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Work with premium-quality seasonal produce to create exceptional dishes.
- Supervise and mentor the kitchen team, ensuring smooth food production and a healthy team culture.
- Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs.
- Always maintain kitchen health and safety standards.
About You:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a similar high-end dining or premium venue environment, with experience managing medium to large teams. Ideally from hatted environments, Michelin stars an even bigger bonus.
- Strong culinary knowledge and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for the culinary industry and a positive, collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Full working rights in Australia are required.
