1 x Sous chef Cams Wharf Tavern

1 x Chef de Partie Cams Wharf Tavern

Iris Hotel Group is looking to fill multiple positions available within our Hotels in Newcastle and Hunter.

The right person for the role will be a driven individual that enjoys the rush of a busy service and is adept at managing every area of the kitchen. You will be part of an experienced kitchen team and will lead by example in this varied role, executing a casual bistro menu.

This is an opportunity to join a culinary team who aspire for greatness in a casual environment. A team who work together to deliver exceptional quality across all facets of the bistro operation

• Previous chef/cook experience within a similar fast-paced environment

• The ability to run a section for a smooth, organized service

• Team leadership skills for Sous Chef applicants

• Passionate about the end product

• Professional, polished appearance (for our open kitchens)

• A positive attitude

• Desire to succeed in your chosen career

• At least Certificate III in Cookery
