Site Foreman – Remedial Construction | Take Ownership of Key Projects

Type: Permanent Full-Time
Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 + Super (negotiable based on experience)

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Foreman to join a reputable and fast-growing remedial construction company with a solid pipeline of projects across Sydney. You’ll work closely with the senior leadership team, take full ownership of your projects, and have a clear pathway to senior leadership roles. The business operates in live environments, focusing on remedial works, defect rectification, and structural repairs.

About the Opportunity:

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded remedial construction business with a strong project pipeline across Sydney. They specialise in remedial, defect rectification, and structural repairs in live environments and complex sites. With expansion underway, they’re offering a permanent opportunity with career progression into senior leadership.

About the Role:

You’ll be working directly with the Managing Director, Construction Manager, and Project Managers to lead projects from the ground up, managing both your team and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality delivery on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and enforce WHS policies on site

Direct and coordinate trades and subcontractors

Manage daily work programs in line with project schedules

Lead defect rectification and specialised remedial works to a high standard

Oversee project resources and materials to ensure efficient operations

Monitor project quality and ensure work aligns with scope and specifications

Maintain compliance with ISO, WHS, and Environmental standards

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in remedial construction

Trade qualifications in carpentry, waterproofing and or building- preferable

Hands-on experience with defect rectification

Proven experience as a Site Foreman or Leading Hand stepping up

Strong leadership and team management abilities

Excellent time management and ability to oversee multiple tasks

Organised with strong attention to detail

Practical understanding of WHS policies and site compliance

Strong problem-solving skills

Effective and professional communicator who can liaise between trades, engineers, and management

Positive, solutions-oriented mindset and able to work collaboratively

Comfortable working in fast-paced, live environments
