We are a reputable, mid to high-end renovation and construction company looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Site Supervisor / Foreman to join our team.

We specialise in bathroom renovation, new builds, second Storey additions and extensions Sydney-wide.

Responsibilities

This opportunity is a full-time role with a 6-month probationary period, where you will see yourself completing tasks including:

Supervising and directing the work of construction crews, including carpenters, labourers, and subcontractors

Coordinating and scheduling project activities to meet deadlines and budget requirements

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to the construction process

Identifying and resolving any issues or problems that arise on the construction site

Liaising with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of projects

Providing training and guidance to crew members to improve their skills and productivity

Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, whilst upholding quality and compliance with building codes

Travelling between multiple sites, taking a hands-on approach where required

What we're looking for

Significant experience as a Site Supervisor / Foreman, in residential and commercial construction

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to effectively manage and motivate construction crews

Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications

Experience and Skills required:

Luxury class 1 and 2 residential alterations and addition experience in Sydney

Requirements

Australian Citizenship

General knowledge of WHS standards & regulations

Current drivers’ license with reliable mode of transport

Ability to run multiple renovations concurrently and to project schedule

Construction Safety Induction (white) card

5+ years of experience supervising experience.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a professional attitude

Fantastic communication and organisation skills

Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate staff

Ability to follow detailed plans, with a strong attention to detail
