About the role

Rydges Bankstown is a 120 room 4 star hotel fronting the Hume Highway in Bass Hill. This modern hotel is a 14-minute walk from Dunc Gray Velodrome, 2.9 km from Bankstown Airport and 9 km from Warwick Farm Racecourse.

Featuring a restaurant, bar, outdoor pool and conference facilities Rydges Bankstown is looking for a fun and enthusiastic Guest Services Agent to join our dynamic and successful front office team!

As a Guest Service Agent you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a busy front desk.

You will possess the following skills:

• Minimum one year of hotel front office experience
• Experience with Opera, or similar hotel PMS
• The flexibility to work a rotating roster of AM, PM and Overnight shifts, as well as weekends and public holidays
• A willingness to go above and beyond for all of our guests
• The ability to work in a strong team environment
• The ability to show initiative
• A friendly and outgoing personality
• The ability to work well in a high pressure environment
