TrialsWest is one of Australia’s most experienced and successful clinical research companies. We collaborate with the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies to bring new medicines and vaccines to life. With established operations in Spearwood and Osborne Park — and a brand-new site launching soon in Mandurah — we’re expanding and looking for Research Nurses / Study Co-ordinators to join our team. These positions will be based at our new clinic in Mandurah.

This role focuses on the care, safety and co-ordination of participants in clinical trials conducted at TrialsWest. In this role you will be responsible for:

Ensuring that the clinical trials are conducted according to ICH GCP and the study protocol

Recruiting and screening participants to determine their eligibility for trials

Collection and documentation of trial data, as required by the study protocols (including vital signs, ECGs, spirometry, blood, sputum and urine sample collections, questionnaires)

Reporting adverse events

Management of investigator site files

Participation in monitoring visits and phone calls with CRAs

The successful candidate will need to:

Hold a tertiary qualification in nursing, health science or biological science

Be an Australian citizen or have work rights in Australia

Have some prior clinical trial experience

Be skilled in venepuncture, processing blood samples, recording ECGs and using ePROs

Have meticulous attention to detail

Have well-developed oral and written English language skills

Be professional and accountable for your work

Possess well-developed computer skills and have experience with a range of EDC and eCOA systems

Have the ability and desire to work with minimal supervision; but still enjoy working alongside others team members
