CLUB CO-ORDINATOR

Hensman Park Tennis Club is a successful, well established and respected community organisation committed to developing tennis.

The club is centrally located in South Perth, has 300+ members, 17 tennis courts and modern facilities including bar, kitchen and hall for hire. Tennis programs are run throughout the year catering for both seniors, juniors, social and competitive play. Courts are also available for public hire via an online court booking system.

The Role

We are seeking someone on a part-time basis to develop and co-ordinate the club’s various tennis related activities and engaging with members and the wider community. As the Club Co-ordinator, your role will be to take responsibility for general operations, administration and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain tennis and social activities to suit a range of demographics.

Maximise revenue generating activities such as building membership, sponsorship, court hire and hall hire.

Manage the clubs social media presence and website to increase audience engagement.

Engage with key stakeholders such as club members, coaches, Tenniswest, sponsors, court/venue hirers and the local community.

Attend to general administration duties. (including bookkeeping depending on your skillset).

You will report to the President and also work closely with the volunteer members of the Club’s board of management.

About You

You will be personable, organised and have the ability to work with little supervision.

You will be an energetic self starter who loves to bring ideas to the table.

You will have an interest in sporting or community organisations and preferably tennis (knowledge of tennis programs would be an advantage)

You will need a reasonable level of computer proficiency and social media understanding.

Have a Responsible Serving of Alcohol qualification or be willing to obtain one.
