Position:

To be responsible for the production of stakeholder and public focused marketing and promotional content for Launceston Central Inc activities. Management of social media and website content, design, production and printing of external and internal information sheets, leaflets, posters, blog writing. Graphic design of all printed and web-based collateral, and support in marketing strategy, concept and roll-out of all activities, promotions and events.

Selection Criteria:

Essential

Tertiary qualification in Business, Tourism and/or Marketing or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.

Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline Demonstrated experience in Business, Tourism and/or Marketing principles including in-depth understanding of digital marketing.

Requirement of having a portfolio of previous work

Proven ability in building and maintaining productive stakeholder relationships.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

Ability to represent Launceston Central’s brand and core values.

Desired skills

Knowledge of business environments including Retail and Hospitality.

Knowledge of local government operations.

Key Areas -Major Responsibilities

Marketing, activations, Collateral, campaigns, events,

Improving and driving our digital presence, creating new ways to engage with and grow our online audience.

Creating, graphic design and distribution of promotional materials on our website and social media

Website content creation and management.

Collate data and create graphical representations that demonstrate the measurement and effectiveness of the digital component of marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.

Co-ordinate marketing communications across various channels, schedule posts, follow marketing calendar and strategy, and keep content up to date.

Production of written content and copywriting such as blogs, media releases and promotional materials.

Graphic design of print ready assets: internal and external reports, leaflets, posters, signage, print advertising, website, e-communications, and other marketing collateral.

Management of up to date photographic and video assets for promotional purposes including relationships with providers.

Assist with campaign management and optimisation.

Perform other administrative duties as required including management of office booking systems, annual reports, and corporate brochures.

Use of Hubspot, SharePoint, mail chimp, survey monkey, website, social media platforms, Microsoft Teams and Suite and or similar

Assist management with various tasks and responsibilities as needed

Attend out-of-hours functions as relevant and able.

Assisting with general telephone, administrative and various duties as part of a small hands-on team and as required.

Other activities may be required that assist the team to achieve our strategic goals.

High level of Microsoft suite and graphic design skills including use of Adobe Suite (Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).

Should also include High level understanding and familiarity with the Meta Business Suite, including Meta and Google advertising

Accurate record keeping and data entry

Production of quality written and graphic content

Production, planning and management of social media, website and advertising content.
