Based in Hobart, Tasmania, Myfoodlink is the leading independent online shopping platform for grocery and liquor in Australia and New Zealand. Our platform powers hundreds of online stores for groups like Bottlemart and FoodWorks, as well as many individual IGAs and specialty food stores.
We’re looking for a strategic and creative Marketing Specialist to help shape the future of ecommerce in grocery and liquor.
As our Marketing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in driving customer engagement, building loyalty, and growing our market presence. From crafting smart CRM strategies and managing digital campaigns, to launching innovative ecommerce features — you’ll be central to how we connect retailers with their communities online.
You’ll join a friendly, fast-moving team working from our bright and stylish top-floor Hobart office. The role is office-based, with client communications via phone, email, and virtual meetings — so clear communication and confidence in digital channels are a must.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to promote Myfoodlink’s products and services
Build and nurture our CRM to enhance customer engagement and retention
Target new business opportunities through effective marketing initiatives
Maintain and develop marketing to Myfoodlink’s existing customers to foster loyalty and provide upselling opportunities for our products and services
Drive innovation by developing and enhancing ecommerce marketing features and integrations within Myfoodlink
Develop strategies and implement campaigns for Myfoodlink ecommerce stores
Provide analysis and reporting on marketing campaign performance and adjustment of strategies accordingly
Management of digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms for Myfoodlink
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and team members
Stay up-to-date with industry trends to contribute fresh ideas for our improving our platform and driving growth in ecommerce
Qualifications & Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong technical skills and experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (i.e., CRM, Google Merchant, Google Ads, social media advertising, email marketing tools)
Proven experience with CRM platforms, including strategy, segmentation, and workflow automation
Knowledge of marketing analytics, metrics and campaign performance measurement
Ability to create engaging, high-quality campaign content
Experience managing social media marketing strategies and campaigns
Excellent project management and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
Experience in grocery, liquor or ecommerce is preferred
Australian citizens or permanent residents preferred.
