We serve a growing client base across Australia and overseas — and we’re scaling fast. We now need a skilled Logistics & Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Geebung, Brisbane, and help drive supply chain performance.

About the Role

This full-time role sits within a 4 person logistics team and combines two key areas:

Freight Coordination (domestic and international)

Purchasing & Supplier Liaison (especially with overseas vendors)

You’ll be central to shipping, freight tracking, export documentation, and communicating with freight forwarders, customs agents, and suppliers — including Chinese-language vendors.

Key Duties

Manage end-to-end freight bookings (air, sea, road, domestic & international)

Prepare and submit export documents (packing lists, commercial invoices, declarations)

Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers across time zones

Track shipments and update internal registers and delivery schedules

Collaborate with warehouse dispatch and internal teams to meet deadlines

Verify freight invoices and maintain logistics cost control

Liaise with Chinese-speaking suppliers and support overseas purchasing

Assist with procurement documents, product orders, and factory coordination

Suggest and implement process improvements in freight and supply chain systems

About You

We’re seeking a confident and proactive logistics and procurement professional with strong attention to detail and bilingual communication skills.

You will bring:
✔ 5+ years’ experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination
✔ Experience in purchasing or vendor liaison — especially with Chinese manufacturers/suppliers
✔ Fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) written and verbal communication
✔ Knowledge of Incoterms, shipping terms, and import/export documentation
✔ Experience with Excel, Salesforce, or logistics platforms
✔ Strong time management and organisational skills
✔ Comfortable working on-site at our Geebung operations base
