The Role
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and increase revenue streams. Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our client base, managing key accounts, and developing innovative sales strategies to meet the evolving needs of the equipment hire industry.Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction, industrial, and event sectors.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, including contractors, developers, and event organizers.
Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable deals.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote Omli Hire Australia.
Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Skills and Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the equipment hire, construction, or related industries.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Knowledge of the Victorian market and equipment hire sector is an advantage.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
