About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Accountant to join our financial team. This role requires a reliable, stable, and trustworthy professional who will work closely with the Financial Manager in proper execution of robust financial and accounting functions for the business. It takes care of the complex financial data of the business and ensures thorough accounting and tax compliance as well as strong financial performance and integrity through the business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review financial statements and ensure financial information for monthly and annual accounts is complied and analysed within relevant accounting standards

Ensure all financial reporting deadlines and duties are met internally and externally as per relevant requirements

Support digital and physical financial records processes and provide financial data and analysis for internal reporting and decision-making

Manage and coordinate relationships with external auditors to oversee and review of audit files

Liaise with external tax agent and provide tax working to support corporate tax filings and lodgements

Coordinate the completion of annual income tax return and other indirect taxes

Assist with cash-flow management, annual budgeting and periodical budget updates in line with business planning policies and development strategies.

Analyse the operating and financial performance of the business against business plan and budget, identifying key variances

Assist in developing and managing best practice accounting policies and procedures for the business

Supervise the accounts receivable, accounts payable and accounting clerk functions

About you:

A tertiary qualification in Accounting is required

Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English are essential

At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the industry

Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail

Capable of working effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team

Experience with NetSuite is highly valued but not mandatory

Have a flexible working approach – support other team members when required
