We’re currently partnering with a well established, forward thinking engineering business seeking a skilled and proactive Company Accountant to join their finance team. The Opportunity Reporting to a senior finance leader, your key responsibilities will include:

• Month-end and year-end financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Supporting AP, AR and daily transactional accounting (processed remotely)
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Project and cost accounting for operational and commercial teams
• Maintaining and improving ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Compliance with internal controls, governance and reporting standards
• Driving process improvement initiatives across finance operations

About You
You’ll be a detail-oriented and commercially minded professional, confident working across teams and presenting financial information to stakeholders.

To succeed, you’ll bring:

• Proven experience in a hands-on Company Accountant or similar role
• CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Business Central/Navision ideal)
• High attention to detail, strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
