As the business enters a significant growth phase in 2025 and beyond, they’re now seeking a seasoned Commercial Estimator to join the high-performing team and help drive their ambitious success and expansion plans.

The Role

• Prepare and develop accurate, detailed cost estimates by calculating and validating quantities
• Read, interpret, and analyse contracts, specifications, and technical drawings
• Perform take-offs and review supplier/subcontractor quotes for competitiveness and compliance
• Manage subcontractor engagement, pricing negotiations, and scope alignment
• Assess tender documentation thoroughly, identifying scope gaps, risks, and tender complexity
• Issue RFI’s to ensure complete, accurate, and clarified tender submissions
• Assist in developing construction methodologies, programs, and supporting submission documents
• Compile letters of offer, tender schedules, programs, and all required submission materials
• Utilise Buildsoft (or Cubit) estimating software effectively to deliver competitive tenders

The Person

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Commercial Estimator on projects valued $1M - $15M
• Proficiency in Buildsoft, Cubit, or equivalent
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability, and creative problem-solving skills
• Established relationships with subcontractors and suppliers across SE QLD
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and delivering on promises
• Demonstrated tenure and loyalty in previous roles, evidencing stability and reliability

The Package

• Immediate interview & start available
• Attractive remuneration: $110,000 – $140,000 + Super
• Monday – Friday
