Event & Café Supervisor and Bar Supervisor

Wynnum Manly Leagues Club is currently recruiting two key leadership roles — an Event & Café Supervisor and a Bar Supervisor — to join our dynamic team and lead service excellence across our modern, multi-outlet venue.

Event & Café Supervisor

Bring events to life and lead our café to success. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives across both fast-paced café service and event coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations in our café and function spaces
- Lead and support staff during shifts
- Coordinate and execute seamless event service
- Maintain top-tier food & beverage presentation and service
- Engage with guests and handle service complaints when needed
- Work closely with chefs and senior managers to ensure operational flow
- Ensure compliance with RSA, food safety, and OH&S standards

Ideal Candidate

- At least 2 years’ experience in a hospitality supervisory or team leader role
- Skilled in both café service and event/function coordination
- Calm, confident, and solution-oriented in high-pressure situations
- Current RSA & RSG (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong leadership, team motivation, and coaching abilities

Bar Supervisor

Take charge of bar operations in our Motif Lounge Bar and inspire great service. We're seeking a confident and capable leader with a solid background in bar management who can deliver an outstanding experience for our guests — from game day crowds to late-night celebrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day operations of the club’s bar outlets
- Lead and motivate a high-performing bar team
- Monitor beverage service, product presentation, and stock levels
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol at all times
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance in line with venue policies
- Support the team during busy periods and help resolve any customer concerns

Ideal Candidate

- Previous bar supervisory or team leader experience (minimum 2 years)
- RSA certified and knowledgeable in liquor licensing laws
- Strong organisational skills with a hands-on leadership style
- Approachable, proactive, and able to work a rotating roster
