Our client is a family owned Canberra based funeral service business providing a long standing proven range of assistance and care for a broad client base.
Based at the Belconnen office the position offers a diverse base of duties appealing to an experienced Administration professional. Hours of work 10am-3pm weekdays.
Key responsibilities of the role include;
* Meet and liaise with all office visitors including clients to ascertain needs on a daily basis such as enquiries.and coordination activity relating to their needs, follow up activity
* Manage all incoming phone and website contacts to ensure rapid response to all matters, ensure workplace area is well maintained clean/tidy at all times
* Plan and prioritse all administration activity on a daily basis to ensure timely delivery of data entry, customer enquiry, function activity where required
* Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures and Work Health and Safety (WHS)
* Other duties as required including some after hours activity (by roster)

A proven Administrative background with relevant IT experience is essential along with an ability to demonstrate an understanding of client needs. Flexibility with working hours is sometimes required. Demonstrated strong communication skills a must as is empathy for for clients given varying circumstances associated with the position.
