What you will do

The key duties and responsibilities of this role include:

Coordinate projects and services in relation to agreements with strategic partners, external parties and other stakeholders including contract and project administration.

Provide secretariat services for internal and external meetings and forums.

Provide administrative support to the team in relation to projects, procurement and general business.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support program delivery strategies including preparing and presenting information in a variety of formats.

Act as a point of contact for stakeholder enquiries, providing information, and facilitating proactive communication to strengthen partnerships and relationships.

Support the planning, coordination, and execution of industry engagement initiatives aligned to the Annual Training Plan (ATP), including liaising with suppliers, assisting with procurement and tracking project activity.

Coordinate and manage the administration of processes and systems including our Learning Management System (LMS), CRM and project management systems.

Contribute to, and provide project coordination and administration in relation to grants and tendering processes in line with policy.

Coordinate and support events and stakeholder engagement and other activities to support projects and programs.

Conduct research and analyse a range of qualitative and quantitative data and feedback to identify industry needs and gaps, assess the effectiveness of industry engagement efforts projects and initiatives, and identify areas of success and for improvement.

Coordinate and contribute to and support the development of reports in relation to projects, contracts and other industry initiatives.

Assist in developing communication strategies and material such as social media and newsletters to engage stakeholders and promote industry engagement activities, opportunities, and achievements.

Collaborate with internal teams, particularly with peer MSQ coordinators to ensure successful delivery of MSQ’s projects and programs, working flexibly and providing assistance with other duties as directed and required.

For this role, we will consider how well you demonstrate the competencies critical to the performance of a Project Coordinator, focussing on:

Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships with staff, industry partners, educational institutions, government agencies, and community organisations.

Strong project coordination skills to identify strategic goals and work autonomously to both develop and implement annual work plans.

Proactive and highly organised with the ability to multitask, prioritise, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.

Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality of written communication, and delivery of high standards of work in line with best practice.

Practical proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new software systems quickly.

Proven experience in business, project coordination, admin support, or a similar role.

Proven experience and successful track record in skills, education, training, workforce development, economic development or employment services contexts.

Experience in the manufacturing industry, VET sector, or government is advantageous.

Relevant qualifications are highly desirable.

Full clean drivers’ licence with the ability to undertake occasional travel within Queensland.
