About the role

As Production Manager at Lite Corp Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility in Wallerawang, NSW. This is a full-time position that will see you play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective production of our high-quality products.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and business objectives

Oversee the production process, monitor productivity, and identify areas for improvement

Manage and coordinate the work of production staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance and feedback, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols

Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and quality control, to ensure smooth operations

Analyse production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies to optimise efficiency

Maintain accurate records and generate reports to track production metrics and KPIs

Foster a positive and engaged team culture, promoting continuous improvement and employee development

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) in a production or operations management role, preferably within the manufacturing industry

Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, production planning, and quality control

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing priorities

Proven track record of leading and motivating teams, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders

Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field would be highly advantageous
