We are currently seeking a proactive, hands-on Production Manager to take charge of day-to-day production and lead our skilled team in crafting our premium, bespoke products.

This is a dynamic, on-the-tools leadership role that requires deep knowledge of aluminium and glass fabrication, a sharp eye for detail, and a strong ability to mentor and manage others in a fast-paced environment. Key Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience manufacturing premium aluminium window and door systems for residential projects.

At least 5 years’ experience in a production leadership or management role, ideally within aluminium window or door fabrication or a related industry.

Proven experience in scheduling, workflow optimisation, and labour allocation to meet production targets efficiently.

Strong technical knowledge of production processes, quality control, and machinery and tools used in aluminium fabrication and glazing.

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate small production teams, mentor junior staff, and uphold a consistently high standard of workmanship.

High attention to detail and commitment to delivering precise, high-end finished products.

Skilled in reading and interpreting shop drawings and technical plans.

Excellent problem-solving, time management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work autonomously and respond quickly on the floor.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile environment where priorities can shift and everyone contributes as needed.

Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Experience in monitoring materials and stock levels to keep production running smoothly.

Must be fully hands-on — this is not a desk-based role. You’ll be fabricating, leading, and working on the floor daily.

Responsibilities:

As Production Manager at Arcue, you will:

Take charge of daily factory operations, ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow that stays organised and on schedule.

Inspire and guide a close-knit team, championing high standards in quality, safety, and collaboration to foster a positive and productive workplace.

Plan, maintain, and coordinate production schedules, ensuring projects stay on track to meet deadlines and client expectations.

Monitor production performance and drive continuous improvements in efficiency and output quality.

Ensure all fabrication work closely follows technical plans, shop drawings, and specifications.

Oversee quality throughout the production process, ensuring all finished products meet Arcue’s high standards before dispatch.

Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised factory floor, promoting a strong safety culture and adherence to protocols.

Mentor junior team members, helping them grow in skill and confidence through hands-on guidance and feedback.

Oversee inventory and order processing, ensuring materials align with production schedules to minimise downtime.

Coordinate all incoming and outgoing deliveries, maintaining precise records and guaranteeing prompt handling and on-time dispatch.

Proactively troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimise disruption and keep production moving.

Continuously seek out opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and implement practical improvements across the workshop.
