Intereach Out of School Hours Care is looking for a dynamic Service Manger to join our team!

This is an ongoing role based in Deniliquin or the surrounding area including Barham, Swan Hill, Finley and Echuca.

The role would see the candidate working up to 38 hours per week. However, for the right candidate this would be negotiable. We also offer flexibility around start and finish times and the option to participate in a blended working from home model.

Your impact
Your leadership will engage the passion of our Educators by providing them with guidance and coaching in exceeding practices. Your excellent communication and relationship management skills and the ability to interact with school representatives, children and their families will be key to your success.

As Nominated Supervisor you are responsible for compliance and leading exceeding practices whilst managing the budgetary and administrative aspects of the service.

Above all, your genuine interest in supporting children to grow and realise their potential will have a lasting impact.

Our OOSH service operates from a dedicated Family Centre accessed by local primary school aged children in Deniliquin and from a dedicated space at Barham Primary School. We strongly value creating a safe, play-based environment for children to thrive. We consider a friendly and inclusive team dynamic to be integral to the impact of our learning programs. We are looking for someone who shares that philosophy and wants to lead a committed and engaged team.

About you
We’d love to hear from you if you:

Have a Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)

A deep understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF

Have previous leadership experience including proven ability to guide, mentor and uplift a team

Have experience managing compliance and administrative requirements

Food Safety Training and Supervisor Certification (desirable)

Are a team player with a creative and energetic approach

Have valid compliance certificates (e.g. WWCC, Child Protection, First Aid etc.)

Have a current police check

This is an identified key personnel position. You will be required to meet the fit and proper person requirements.
