HR Services Manager
- HR Services Manager Leading a team of 3 HR Services Officers
- 35hr week, based in Bathurst
- Commence by negotiation no later than September 2025
- Lead the delivery of human resource services across 33 schools within the Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst
- Salary range starting from $132,200 plus super
ANZUK Education has partnered with Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst in their search for a HR Services Manager to lead the delivery of human resource services across the school system. Reporting to the Head of HR, Risk and WHS, this leadership role is responsible for providing high-level human resource advice and leading a team to deliver responsive, efficient, and compliant HR services across CEDB.
Your role will be pivotal in supporting schools and internal stakeholders, ensuring operational excellence in areas such as contract management, HRIS, reporting, and compliance—while upholding the Vision and Mission of Catholic education.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the HR Services team to deliver consistent, high-quality HR support.
- HR Operations: Manage HRIS, reporting and metrics, policy input, and stakeholder education across human resource services.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and automation of HR processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and transparency.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide strategic and operational advice to school leaders, principals, and internal teams on HR matters including staffing allocations, contract renewals, and employment conditions.
- Collaboration: Foster positive relationships with internal teams, school leaders, and external providers such as Empower and PageUp.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience managing HR operations and services in a complex or multi-site environment
- Experience with managing fast paced HR services for medium sized organisation with 1000 FTE
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and project management capability
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a HR Services role
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. PageUp) and outsourced service providers is desirable
- Alignment with the ethos and values of Catholic education
