ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join their growing program as they double their investment in Salesforce, with a focus on significant customisation and roadmap delivery. You will design, build, and optimise Salesforce solutions across Service Cloud (must-have), Field Service (nice to have), and Agentforce pilots, while helping to mature the development process and mindset by leveraging AI in the development cycle.

This is a hands-on role, working closely with the Business Analyst team, developers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions that align with the program’s roadmap and business goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and declarative tools.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and source control workflows, ensuring reliable deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
• Establish and enforce coding standards and development best practices, including AI-assisted development tools.
• Collaborate with the Business Analyst team to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Support Service Cloud delivery and contribute to Field Service and Agentforce pilots.
• Mentor junior developers and help mature the development culture within the team.
• Participate in incident response and troubleshooting to maintain system reliability.
• Share knowledge through documentation, training, and collaboration.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Platform, and Salesforce APIs.
• Proven track record delivering and supporting Service Cloud projects (required), Field Service exposure (desirable).
• Experience with Salesforce DX, SFDX CLI, and modern CI/CD tooling.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns and middleware solutions.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Salesforce certifications highly favourable (e.g., Platform Developer I & II, Service Cloud Consultant).
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage confidently with stakeholders and non-technical teams.
• Experience with Agile development environments and secure coding practices.
• A mindset geared towards continuous improvement and leveraging AI to enhance development practices.
