At BeActive, we specialise in women’s health—supporting women at every life stage with tailored physiotherapy, exercise, and wellness services. We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and confident Practice Manager to play a pivotal role in leading our dynamic team and driving business growth.

About Us

Our services include:
- Physiotherapy for pre- and postnatal women
- Pelvic health physiotherapy
- Clinical Pilates
- Exercise physiology
- Group exercise classes: prenatal, postnatal, strength, over-50s, and more

About the Role

-This pivotal leadership role involves overseeing daily operations, driving business growth, and supporting our team of 18 (including practitioners and front-of-house staff).
- 25+ hours per week availability, spread across 4–5 days

Key responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and support the team
- Manage business performance and growth initiatives
- Oversee and refine operational systems, policies, and procedures
- Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, and development
- Support the Director with operational and strategic tasks
- Oversee payroll, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and financial admin
- Coordinate and lead team meetings
- Be the first point of contact for day-to-day team and operational issues

About You:

- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Natural leader with strong emotional intelligence
- Thrives on systems, spreadsheets, and solving operational challenges
- Has a sharp intuition for team dynamics and knows how to coach individuals to perform at their best
- Proven experience managing teams of 15+ people
- Passionate about leadership, mentoring, and growing people and businesses
- Experience in the health, wellness, or fitness industry highly regarded
- Familiarity with MindBody and/or Xero preferred
- Commercially savvy with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong operational management, communication, and time-management skills
- Passionate about fostering a supportive and high-performing team culture
