About Us
Upper Beaconsfield GP Practice is a well-established, AGPAL-accredited, mixed billing clinic serving our wonderful community since 2019. We're a registrar & Medical students teaching practice with a close-knit team of GPs, nurses, receptionists and allied health professionals.

We're now seeking a Practice Manager to lead the clinic into its next chapter, focusing on growth, innovation, and excellent patient care.

The Role
We're looking for someone with both leadership skills and a hands-on approach — someone who can see the bigger picture while managing the day-to-day with care and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations and reception workflows

Lead and support admin and clinical staff, including rostering and training

Support reception team and assist at front desk as required

Coordinate teaching activities with RACGP, registrars, and medical universities

Liaise with PHNs, Medicare, pathology providers, and nursing homes

Support the director with practice growth, business development, and marketing

Maintain compliance with current healthcare guidelines and accreditation standards

Manage recalls, clinical software systems, and room allocations

Identify and apply for tenders and grant opportunities

Champion patient engagement programs like MyMedicare

Note: Payroll and bookkeeping are managed by our external accountant/bookkeeper.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Practice Manager or 5 years in a senior Healthcare leadership role

Strong knowledge of Medicare billing and general practice operations

High-level communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills

Experience with Best Practice software (or similar)

Proficient in Best Practice software, Microsoft Office Suite, and medical billing systems

A team-focused, proactive attitude with a drive for quality improvement

Interest in practice growth, community engagement, and long-term leadership

Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field

Current police check and working with children check required
