Adecco is partnering with a global leader in logistics and forwarding solutions to recruit a proactive and customer-focused Transport Coordinator to join their high-performing team based. Our client specialises in providing end-to-end freight forwarding services across ocean, air, and road transport. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence, they’re seeking a confident and organised coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a long-term logistics career.
The Role
Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for facilitating seamless delivery coordination, maintaining high levels of customer service, and supporting key stakeholders in achieving daily transport targets. This is a hands-on operations role that will suit someone who enjoys troubleshooting, building client relationships, and staying ahead of the curve.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating and scheduling local deliveries across LCL, FCL, and airfreight shipments
Liaising with customers, carriers, and depots to ensure delivery timeframes are met
Monitoring vessel arrivals, customs/quarantine clearances, and wharf availability
Providing real-time updates and resolving delivery issues proactively
Updating delivery milestones, PODs, and related data into CargoWise
Generating and maintaining delivery reports for key clients
Assisting with rate quotes and communicating with clients regarding service requirements
Ensuring all operations meet safety and compliance standards
About You
You’re a strong communicator with a passion for logistics and customer service. You take pride in your ability to multitask and resolve challenges under pressure, while maintaining strong attention to detail and client relationships.
You will bring:
Previous experience in a transport or freight forwarding environment
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CargoWise highly regarded
Valid driver’s licence (essential)
A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow within the business
What’s On Offer?
Salary: $65K–$75K + Super (dependent on experience)
Permanent full-time role | Monday to Friday, flexible start/finish
Hybrid working arrangement once settled (up to 2 days WFH)
Moorabbin Airport location with onsite parking
