What you'll be doing

Plan and manage the linehaul movement of freight across Swiftline's transport network, optimising routes and scheduling to maximise efficiency

Liaise with drivers, depots and clients to coordinate the pickup and delivery of freight, addressing any issues or delays that arise

Monitor fleet and driver performance, making adjustments as needed to maintain high service standards

Provide reporting and data analysis to support continuous improvement of linehaul operations

Contribute to the development of policies, procedures and systems to streamline linehaul management

Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and service delivery

What we're looking for

Significant experience in linehaul or transport coordination, ideally gained within the road transport industry

Strong problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills to effectively manage dynamic logistics operations

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to liaise with drivers, depots and clients

Proficiency in using transport management systems and data analytics to drive operational efficiencies

A keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

A flexible and adaptable approach to handle the changing needs of a fast-paced logistics environment
