About Us

We are a leading electrical and automation installation company specialising in medium to high-end new residential construction projects. Our commitment to quality and innovation has established us as a trusted name in the industry. We are seeking a motivated and organised Office Administrator and Accounts Keeper to join our dynamic team and support our growing operations.

The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to manage our office administration and accounts. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and maintaining accurate financial records using Xero, our preferred accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Management:

Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations using Xero

Manage award obligations, Government incentives and weekly payroll

Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions

Prepare financial reports and assist with cashflow budgeting and forecasting

Liaise with external accountants for compliance and reporting requirements

Office Administration:

Handle general office duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing correspondence

Maintain organised filing systems (digital) for administation documentation and records

Order office supplies and manage inventory

Support project teams with administrative tasks

Manage apprentice training schedules

Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience in office administration and bookkeeping

Proficiency in Xero accounting software (essential)

Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Google Suite (or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook))

Knowledge of basic HR processes is a plus

A proactive, can-do attitude with a commitment to teamwork
