Champagne Recruitment is proud to represent AA Advancements and Astel Homes, both located in Hackney, in their search for a meticulous Accounts and Administration Officer. This role will involve working across both companies and reporting directly to the General Manager.

About Astel Homes: Astel Homes is a dynamic home builder specialising in the construction of investment properties in South Australia. Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable: Process invoices, manage payments, raise purchase orders, order office supplies and ensure timely disbursements.
Accounts Receivable: Monitor incoming payments, manage collections, and maintain accurate records.
General Invoicing: Prepare and issue invoices, reconcile accounts, and ensure accuracy.
Payroll: Experience in payroll processing is desirable.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Budget Management: Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Office Support: Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations, including filing, scheduling, and other tasks as needed.
Communication: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any financial issues.
Qualifications (Essential):
Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general invoicing with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
Experience using XERO.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
It is preferred that you have worked in residential or commercial building.
