About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Accounts Officer to join our team at EspressoWorx & Electrical Services in Mount Gambier, SA. This is a permanent role - full time or part time hours (to be negotiated with successful applicant), that will play a key role in supporting the financial and administrative operations within our growing business.

What you'll be doing

Processing accounts payable and receivable

Bank reconciliations and data entry

Processing weekly payroll and superannuation, using Xero for employees

Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems

Supporting the preparation of monthly reports and BAS

Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to our electrical services and customer accounts

Responding to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner

Maintaining vehicles, registrations and servicing schedules

Maintaining staff inductions, licences, registrations and work cover requirements

Using client portals to finalise jobs and invoicing

Assisting and collaborating with the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the office

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a financial/accounts or office support role, preferably within a service-based industry

Proficiency in accounting software (eg. Xero, or MYOB AccountRight)

Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A proactive and adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping (advantageous but not essential)
