Communications and Extension Officer - Pistachio Growers’ Association

· Sunraysia region – in or close to Mildura

The Australian Pistachio industry is expanding, with production tripling by 2030. Plantings are growing by over 10% per annum. The industry is friendly and cooperative with strong interaction between growers, researchers and packers.

Located in Sunraysia, our Communications and Extension Coordinator provide essential communications on the latest research and activities in the industry though the newsletters, social media, management of the website and coordination of field days.

What We're Looking For:

· A passion for working with horticultural growers coupled with a relevant qualification or experience in communications, extension or agriculture.

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft engaging newsletters, translate research findings into actionable insights, and manage our online presence.

· Ability to navigate social media platforms and maintain our website.

· Must possess an Australian driver's license and be able to travel across our scenic pistachio growing regions.
